Our experts

Our experts have been supporting companies for years in implementing e-invoicing solutions – from the initial analysis through to live operation.
In the webinar, they share insights from real-world projects and reveal the challenges that actually arise in practice – and how companies successfully overcome them.
Real risk in 2027
Why your cash flow could break down?
From this date onwards, mandatory B2B e-invoicing applies to all companies with annual revenue above €800,000.
Failure to implement the required changes – or implementing them incorrectly – can result in invoices being rejected, with direct impact on your incoming payments.
Already today, around 20% of ZUGFeRD invoices received via email in Germany are not valid – often due to incorrect formats, incomplete data, or flawed processes.
From 2027 onwards, such invoices will no longer be considered valid supporting documents – and will no longer qualify for input VAT deduction.
Companies above this threshold are directly affected by the mandatory sending requirement.
It’s not just about sending – validation, receipt, and processing must also be fully compliant. Otherwise, your invoice may not get paid.
Sounds unlikely?
But it could affect up to 33% of German companies by 2027.
Sind Sie bereit?
In the webinar, you will gain clear guidance on how to implement your project on time and under control.
The inevitable consequences
Longer payment cycles
Faulty or non-processable invoices delay approvals and incoming payments.
Rejected invoices
Invalid formats or missing data result in invoices not being accepted at all.
Disrupted cash flow
If invoices are not received or processed correctly, this has a direct impact on your liquidity.
Time is running out.
Use the remaining months to structure your e-invoicing project and implement it in time.
We show you how to plan, test, and successfully roll out your e-invoicing project.

What our webinar participants say
I went into the webinar expecting that we could implement the topic internally relatively quickly. After the first 30 minutes, it became clear: we had completely underestimated the effort. That reality check was extremely valuable. Today, we have a clear project plan and know exactly which steps are truly necessary – and, most importantly, where the biggest risks to our cash flow lie.
Thomas B.
CFO, Industry, Mannheim
For me, the key insight was understanding that e-invoicing is not an IT topic that can simply be delegated. The webinar showed me what role Finance needs to take in the project and how strongly our payment processes are affected. The structured roadmap was particularly helpful – it enabled me to position the topic internally right away.

General questions about the webinar
Why should I, as a Finance leader, deal with e-invoicing now – and not wait until 2027/2028?
Because implementation is not a short-term IT update, but a company-wide project with dependencies across systems, processes, and business partners. Many finance teams massively underestimate the time required. In the webinar, you will see exactly which project phases are necessary – and why your start date determines whether your company will remain financially stable in 2027 or not.
What makes this webinar different from other e-invoicing webinars?
Most formats only explain basics or formats. This webinar, however, gives you a realistic project roadmap from a finance perspective: which steps are required, where typical hurdles lie, and why many projects fail internally. The goal is not theory, but one key question: how do I actually implement this in my company?
I’m not an IT expert – is this webinar still relevant for me?
Especially then. The webinar is specifically designed for CFOs and finance leaders who don’t have deep technical expertise but carry the responsibility. You will learn how to steer an e-invoicing project, build internal alignment, and define the right requirements for IT or external partners – without being a developer yourself.
How realistic is it to implement an e-invoicing project internally?
In the webinar, we deliberately walk you through the path of in-house implementation – including all phases, dependencies, and challenges. Many participants quickly realize how complex topics like validation, partner onboarding, or ongoing updates really are. This realistic perspective helps you make well-informed decisions for your own project.
Which specific risks in the invoicing process are addressed in the webinar?
You will see typical real-world issues that can have a direct impact on your cash flow: rejected invoices due to validation errors, undeliverable invoices, missing mandatory data, or processing issues on the customer side. These risks are not theoretical – they occur regularly in day-to-day operations. And that’s exactly where the webinar comes in.
How does the webinar specifically help me with my own project?
You receive a clearly structured roadmap to set up your project internally: from the initial assessment through technical implementation to testing and rollout. In addition, you gain a realistic understanding of the resources, coordination efforts, and timelines actually required – providing a solid basis for making informed internal decisions.
What is the most important “aha” moment participants take away from the webinar?
The key realization is that e-invoicing is not a “side project.” Many participants start with the expectation that they can implement a solution quickly – and realize during the webinar that the scope, complexity, and time required are significantly greater. This shift in perspective is crucial to setting the right course early and avoiding a cash flow disruption.
