Peppol ID
The Peppol ID plays a critical role within the Peppol network by enabling the unique identification of participants. There are two types of identifiers: the sender ID and the receiver ID.
When an invoice is sent via Peppol, the sender ID is typically based on a Global Location Number (GLN) or a VAT identification number (VAT ID). To receive an invoice, a corresponding receiver ID is required.
If invoices are received on the public sector side via platforms such as ZRE or OZG-RE, the Routing ID (Leitweg-ID) serves as the respective Peppol receiver ID. In this case, the Routing ID is extended with the prefix 0204.
