Interoperability

Interoperability refers to the ability of eInvoicing providers to seamlessly exchange electronic invoices with other issuers, recipients, and their respective providers. To ensure a smooth exchange, the involved systems must be compatible both technically and semantically.

This seamless exchange of electronic invoices is also referred to as roaming.
