German Federal E-Invoicing Regulation

The German Federal E-Invoicing Regulation (E-RechV) governs electronic invoicing within the federal administration. It specifies the requirements of the E-Invoicing Act and forms part of the national implementation of EU Directive 2014/55/EU.

The regulation covers, among other aspects, the receipt, issuance, and transmission of invoices, as well as the required formats and the information they must contain.
